In Costa Rica, I was taught that the northern parts of Incan society reached the western side of the country, and the southern parts of Aztec society stretched to the eastern side. The two civilizations never had contact, however, because of the mountains in the middle. How true were these claims?

We've seen aggression and racism towards asian people in the west(EU/America) at the start of this pandemic due to it's origin/epicenter being china. Did the spanish recieve similar flack during the spanish flu pandemic or was the term coined after?
